Science

My name is Sarah Price, and I am starting my 32nd year of teaching. I started my Lexington 1 career in 1993 at Gilbert Middle School. After a couple of years at GES, I transferred to Red Bank Elementary. I was fortunate enough to be able to return to GMS several years ago. I currently teach sixth-grade science and I love it! I enjoy watching my students learn, grow and complete many hands-on activities. SCIENCE is cool!

I live in Lexington with my children and my stow-away cat, Maizie! I enjoy reading, tending to my yard and flowers, and spending as much time as possible at Surfside Beach. I am taking advantage of this summer to recharge my batteries!

I am excited about the upcoming school year and meeting my new 6th grade friends! GMS is the best!
