I am very excited about entering my tenth year of teaching! This is my sixth year at Midway, and I am so proud to be a Mustang. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with my degree in Early Childhood Education, and I graduated from Liberty University with my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. My husband and I are rather busy with our eight year-old daughter and are expecting our second child later this year.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends during the free time that we have. We also love to cheer on the Gamecocks during all sporting events, too. I look forward to a new year of learning and growing in 2nd grade!

Hi Mustangs!! I joined the Midway Family in 2019 and I am excited about another great year! This is my 14th year teaching! I attended USC and graduated with my B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master’s degree in Education in Language, Literacy, and Culture from Coastal Carolina. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We are the proud parents of our 10-year-old daughter, Harper, and 6-year-old twin boys, Jackson and Colton. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am so excited about a great year of learning and building relationships with my students at Midway!

Immersion Math/Science

Bonjour Mustang! I have been working at Midway Elementary since 2004. I first worked as a kindergarten assistant in a regular class, then in the French Immersion class. I completed my teaching certification through the PACE program and have been the 2nd grade French Immersion teacher since 2012. I am originally from France but I have been living in Lexington for many years now. I have two grown up children, Izlen and Celine. In my spare time I like to read and cook. My family and I also enjoy traveling. We have spent many summers abroad visiting family, discovering different regions of France and other European countries. I am looking forward to a great year!

Hi! I am Molly Pope and this will be my tenth year teaching and sixth year at Midway! I attended Winthrop University and graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education. I am dual certified in Elementary Education. I also taught for two months in China, teaching English to third and fifth grade students. My husband also teaches in Lexington One at Lexington High School and coaches basketball. Go Wildcats! In my free time, I love spending time with my energetic boys Ford (5) and Rett (4), going to the beach, and eating Chick-Fil-A! I am so excited about a fun year full of laughing, learning, and making lasting relationships with my kiddos at Midway. Go Mustangs!

Hello Mustangs! I am so excited to join the Midway family this year as I enter into my 16th year of teaching. I am from Wisconsin but have been living with my family in South Carolina going on four years now. I graduated from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI with my post baccalaureate degree in Elementary and Middle Education. I have a Master's Degree in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. I have a husband of 14 years and we have four children ages 13, 9, 7, and 5. When I am not teaching I am with my family! We like to take day trips to the beach and travel upstate to different locations to get a break from the heat. We have so enjoyed visiting the South Carolina state parks. Walking the trails and finding swimming beaches is our favorite thing to do there! When we are at home we enjoy being outside with the kids or getting some yard work done, watching movies, and watching our favorite sports teams- go Gamecocks, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks! I have spent 15 years teaching first grade and am so excited to be teaching second grade. I look forward to a fun, learning packed year with my second graders! 

Hi! I am Caitlyn Wiley, and this will be my 11th year teaching. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Early Childhood Education, and I am a huge fan of the Gamecocks. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We have 2 daughters, Charlotte (11) and Caroline (8). I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, going to sporting events, and traveling. I am looking forward to another fantastic year at Midway!
