Maria Acosta-Pratt, Spanish Teacher
Hi! I am from Colombia, South America. This will be my 18th year living in the United States and my 5th year as a Spanish teacher at Midway! I am a graduate of the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia with a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Education. I also hold a Master's degree from Universidad de Granada, Spain, in Spanish and the Hispanic Culture.
In my spare time I love exercising, dancing, reading, writing and illustrating children’s books as well as gardening and traveling with my husband. I am looking forward to another year of partnership with our families to foster the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our little Mustangs!

Adriana Garcia Bracho
Hello! I am Mme. Garcia, I am gracious and excited to start my fourth year as part of the Mustang family!
I am from Venezuela and I have a Bachelor's in Education with focus in Modern Languages. I have been working for over 12 years teaching French, English, and Spanish to people of different ages, but I have to recognize that kids are my favorite kind of audience! Teaching languages is my passion, and being able to give my students such a powerful tool to connect and interact with the rest of the world really fulfills my heart. I am also happy to be able to help my students get better in maths and boost their confidence to believe in their potential as a person and as mathematicians.
I love dancing, trying new food, going to restaurants, traveling, and spending time with my husband Mario and my 9-year-old daughter Maria. They are my best companions in this exciting life adventure in the United States.
