Counselor for K and 4th Grades

Hello Mustangs! My name is Kay Craft, and I am excited to be serving as the kindergarten and 4th grade School Counselor. I recently graduated from USC with an Education Specialist degree in Counselor Education. This will be my first year at Midway Elementary School. I have worked in the early childhood education field for the past six years. My passion for children has led me to pursue a career in School Counseling. I am dedicated to cultivating a supportive and empathetic safe space for students. My 3-year-old daughter, Melanie, keeps me busy in my free time. We enjoy going for walks, playing on the playground, and watching Disney movies. I look forward to meeting you and your students. Counselor for 1st and 3rd Grades

Hello Mustang families! I am Susan Goff, the school counselor for 1st grade and 3rd grade this year. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and my Educational Specialist Degree in Counselor Education (K-12) from the University of South Carolina. I have worked as a school counselor for over 10 years and this will be my eighth year at Midway. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to the mountains and the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I also like to exercise, read, and make crafts. I am ready for another exciting year at Midway!

Counselor for 2nd and 5th Grades

Hello Mustangs! My name is Rick Masters and I have worked at Midway Elementary for over 10 years. I am excited about starting a new school year and look forward to our journey together. My two daughters moved up to middle school this year but I still have my son here for a few more years. This year I will take care of 2nd Grade and 5th Grade, but we are a big family here, so we take care of each other. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling across our wonderful country, (one of my many goals is to visit all of our National Parks), and doing anything in and around the water!
