• Dedicated and innovative educator committed to establishing strong social and academic growth through actively engaging each child to reach their maximum potential for ultimate success. Committed to be a lifelong learner by evaluating and leading through staff and professional development. 
• I am constantly developing the best ways to meet and manage all student needs while making learning fun.
• Our classroom is built with a lot of student input to create their learning community. We encourage our students with positive rewards that they choose & flexible seating and want to promote kinesthetic learning through hands-on activities. 

My Personal Passions 

I’m originally from Union, South Carolina. My husband and I moved to Columbia from Fort Mill to start a family and then settled in Lexington at the right time to raise our three children (Hayden Elizabeth 10, Bennett 7, and Adaline 5).  I took a few years off to explore another opportunity with my own business and quickly realized how much I miss working with children and being in a classroom.We stay very busy between events, traveling,and spending time outdoors!

My Personal Passions 

My husband, Brian and I have 5 children (all boys) together, ranging in age from 17 to 28. No grandkids yet! We live on Lake Murray and love boating and the outdoors. During football season, you will likely find us supporting the Carolina Gamecocks.
