6th Grade Resource Teacher

Murray Ann is the 6th grade resource teacher at LMS. She has been teaching for 27 years in the state of South Carolina. Murray Ann joined Lexington Middle School 13 years ago in 2009 and opened Lakeside Middle School 2 years ago. She has taught children ages 3 to 22 and has a love for children of all ages. When she is not teaching, Murray Ann enjoys spending time with her family. Her family includes my husband of 28 years and her two daughters. Additionally, she has two precious yellow cats named Calvin and Lemmie that she loves spending time with. She is very excited to work with the awesome 6th grade team and students here at Lakeside Middle.

She graduated with honors with a BS degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. She also has 40 graduate hours specializing in Special Education from Francis Marion University and the University of South Carolina. She is certified and highly qualified in the areas of Learning Disabilities, Mental Disabilities, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Education. She also has her Read to Succeed endorsement.
