PE and Health Teacher

Laura Parker is a Physical Education and Health Teacher that came to Lexington School District One from Richland School District Two. Her teaching career started in Richland School District Two at EL Wright Middle School. Before that, she stepped in as a long term substitute for Lexington School District One after graduating from the University of South Carolina.

Laura is originally from Syracuse, New York where she lived most of her life and experienced an array of sports/games. Due to this experience, she absolutely loves sports and wants to share this enjoyment with as many as possible! In addition, when she is not in her teacher role, she is coaching after school sports such as volleyball and lacrosse. In her free time, Laura enjoys being with her family and friends, taking trips, binge watching Netflix, reading, going out to eat, taking naps, and going to the beach!
