Lexington Technology Center (LTC) opened in the fall of 1974 and is located in Lexington, South Carolina. Each year, LTC serves approximately 2,000 students from Gilbert, Lexington, Pelion, River Bluff and White Knoll High Schools on its campus, focusing on teaching specialized career development courses. The Center is also the central hub of Career and Technology Education (CTE) for Lexington One and supports curriculum coordination for CTE courses at each of the five area high schools.
Lexington Technology Center is designated as the Lexington One Center for Advanced STEM Studies. In addition, LTC currently offers 32 program areas of specialized training, and is expanding every year. Each area has its own advisory council to work with the Center’s administrative advisory council, faculty & staff, and community business partners. LTC is proud to partner with more than 150 community members serving on these councils.
Recognized locally, state-wide, and nationally as a School of Excellence, Lexington Technology Center has received the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School Award and Palmetto Gold Award. Students from the Center have held both state and national positions in various school organizations. LTC students consistently win district, state, and national recognition for their superior skills and content knowledge.
