Digital Learning Coach

My name is Laura Beckham and I am so excited to be serving as the Digital Learning Coach for Lakeside Middle, River Bluff High, Lexington Elementary and Midway Elementary this year!

Prior to becoming a digital learning coach, I taught Social Studies at White Knoll Middle, and previously served as the DLC for Pelion Middle School. I am a proud alumna of Louisiana State University and earned both my Bachelor and Master degrees in Elementary Education there. I also earned an Education Specialist degree in Literacy at Converse College. I am certified in elementary education, middle level Social Studies, and as a literacy teacher, coach, and specialist. I am also a Google for Education Certified Trainer and Coach, Apple Learning Coach, and love supporting teachers and students in exploring transformative ways to use technology.

When I’m not at work, I love reading and spending time exploring the outdoors with my family.
