Computer Science Teacher

Mrs. Eskew is excited about her 2nd school year at Lakeside Middle School as the Computer Science teacher. Kayla Eskew has been dedicated to teaching STEM for the past 7 years in Edgefield, SC, at JET Middle School and the Strom Thurmond Career & Technology Center. With a deep passion for technology and its role in enhancing education, Kayla is committed to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Outside of her professional life, Kayla is a proud mother to her beautiful daughter, Alyssa, and a loving pet parent to her two cherished dogs, Brantley and Chloe. She values the time spent with her family and church community, which are integral parts of her life.

Kayla’s interests extend to reading, sewing, quilting, and baking, with crafting being a particular passion of hers. As she looks forward to this academic year, she is excited about exploring computer apps and eager to embark on another year of learning and growth with her students.
