Volunteers Vs. Visitors
-
Volunteering and attending school events is the best way to get a firsthand look at your student's learning environment and connect with the amazing school community.
Why Volunteer? — Lexington One schools are powered by incredible volunteers – parents, family members, grandparents, seniors and community members from all walks of life. They share their time and talents, creating a positive impact on both students and themselves. Students benefit from extra support and positive role models, and volunteers gain the satisfaction of knowing they're making a difference.
Safety First — We prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Every school utilizes Raptor Technologies, a visitor management system that conducts instant sex offender registry checks across all 50 states. All visitors must sign in and wear badges while on school grounds.
Ready to Join Us? Becoming a volunteer is easy! Here's what you need to know:
- Complete an application and background check. Contact your child's school for details (approval takes 2–4 weeks).
- Attend school events and activities. Show your support and connect with the community!
Together, we can make a lasting impact on our children's education!
