The Finance Office is responsible for accurately maintaining accounts payable and receipting, fixed assets, general ledger and financial reporting, grants, and the payroll of Lexington County School District One.
The Finance Office conducts the administration of employee benefits and educates employees about available insurance and retirement options; handles procurement services and conveys necessary information regarding solicitations and awards for departments, schools and vendors; and oversees The Lexington One Educational Foundation.
In addition to those functions, Finance is also responsible for the Food Service and Nutrition Office.
