Lexington One, first responders to conduct a crisis management exercise
LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington County School District One, in partnership with SLED, the Lexington Police Department, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department as well as Fire and EMS, Pelion Police Department and other first responders, will conduct a crisis management exercise on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at River Bluff High School, located at 320 Corley Mill Road in Lexington.
The training event is not open to the public and access to the school will be restricted while the training exercise is being conducted. No students will be present at the school, and some district leaders and administrators will be present to participate in the exercise.
The community may notice a large number of emergency responders at the school this day, but there will be no threat or danger to the community.
This training, along with the cooperation of local emergency response agencies and Lexington One, is crucial to helping keep students and staff safe at school.
