Dear Parent or Guardian,
As the semester draws to a close, we are nearing the dates for the End of Course Exam (EOC). EOCs are a state requirement and the exam will be 20% of your student's final grade in their course. The information that follows is in regards to ALL EOCs, so you only need to pay attention to the information that pertains to the EOC your student will be taking!
EOCs take place in English 2/English 2 Honors, Algebra I/Algebra I Honors, US History/AP US History, Biology I/Biology I Honors.
All EOCs are multiple choice, one day tests EXCEPT English 2/English 2 Honors which is taken in two parts with writing and reading.
GHS students will take their EOC during normal class time with their EOC course teachers.
During testing, students may not be in possession of any electronic or other device that can be used for communicating, timing, creating images or storing images. These devices include, but are not limited to cell phones, media players, tablets, smart watches, electronic readers, headphones, earbuds, stop watches, electronic translators, handheld devices or any electronic imaging or photographic devices. These devices will be collected by the testing administrator and will be returned after all students have completed the testing session. Please review the Lexington School District One Electronic Device Use Guidelines for State-Standardized Testing attached below.
