My name is Alan Lominick.  I have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion University with a major in Computer Information Systems Management.  I have a graduate degree in education from the University of South Carolina.  I am certified in elementary education and middle school science. I taught 7 and 8 grade science for 19 years and have been teaching STEM for the past 11 years.  I am a certified 4.0 Evaluator and gifted and talented endorsed. I enjoy seeing students in STEM have those breakthroughs where everything clicks and to see their faces once they accomplish a project.  I believe STEM helps students in all areas of their academic career with being good critical thinkers and problem solvers.  I am glad to be a Gilbert Middle Warrior and looking forward to working with parents, students and colleagues.
