I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but have lived in Lexington, SC, for 27 years. I have taught middle school and have tutored students in Lexington School District One for 27 years! While attending Furman University, I received my B.A. in Middle School and Special Education (Learning Disabilities) and was a 1st-team All-Conference selection in volleyball for 3 years. My husband, Mike, is a football and PE coach at Lakeside Middle School. We have 3 children: Jackson (23), Riley (23), and Cole (20) who are attending the University of South Carolina.
