• The College Center (TCC) is an early college program that partners with Midlands Technical College to offer students the opportunity to complete an associate degree in high school.

Scholars are immersed in a rigorous college-readiness curriculum, paired with high levels of academic support within Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) electives. TCC is a dual enrollment program in Interdisciplinary Studies that provides scholars with the opportunity to earn more than 60 hours of college credit, while also having an opportunity to complete an Associate in Arts degree from Midlands Technical College (MTC) while still in high school. This is especially a great option for those who will be first-generation college students.

Once the Fall 2024 application window opens, 8th-grade students can apply for the 2025-26 academic year, and 7th-grade students can apply for the 2026-27 academic year. Students begin the program in 9th grade.

Admitted students from any of the five high schools in Lexington County School District One attend the full-day program (8:55 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.), located at the North Lake Community Learning Center (former Lexington Middle School).
