I grew up in West Columbia, SC and now call Lexington home. My experience in Lexington One includes serving as a literacy coach and 4th grade teacher. Before working in Lexington One, I taught in several school districts in NC and SC, and also worked in higher education. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from USC Aiken, and master’s degrees in both Student Personnel Services and Education Administration from USC. I am a Columbia, South Carolina native. As a career changer, I entered the world of elementary education in 2015. I taught fifth grade, third grade, and have served in several leadership capacities. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (Benedict College), Master of Arts in Human Resources Management (Webster University), and a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education and Educational Administration Leadership (University of South Carolina). I live in West Columbia with my husband and three children. We enjoy spending time together, relaxing, and all sports, especially basketball.
