Social Studies

My name is Mrs. Cirlot and I teach 6th grade World History and I currently serve as the social studies department chair. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education from the University of South Carolina and my Masters in Education from Columbia College. This will be my 28th year teaching in Lexington County School District One. I have taught at Gilbert High, White Knoll Middle, and Gilbert Middle. I am also endorsed in Gifted and Talented Education. I am married and my husband and I have six young adults between us. We have a German Shepherd dog named Kelsie. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I am excited for the new school year at Gilbert Middle as we grow and learn together.
