The LTC Career Festival provides insight about educational and career opportunities available at Lexington Technology Center to students and families in Lexington School District One, and Midlands-area business leaders.

Career Festival Slideshow

  • An important piece of the career component of the Lexington Technology Counseling and Advisement office includes hosting career fairs and middle school tours that serve students from one of the eight middle schools throughout Lexington School District One. 

    Current LTC program students are selected to represent their career area and program of study, and give hands-on lessons and answer questions as only a fellow student can. Middle school students are introduced to the CTE courses that will be available to them as high school students in grades 9-12, and explore academic course selection that will directly impact their future career opportunities.

    The various LTC showcase events encourage rising high school students and their families to explore the abundance of career paths, with and without the addition of college/university coursework, and explore emerging trends. Students make lasting connections between their education and the workplace after the tours and fairs.
