The Mac Arthur Goodwin award is given annually to a South Carolina art educator whose work honors the legacy of its namesake – Dr. Mac Arthur Goodwin (1942-2016) and his legacy of leadership as an Artist, Arts Educator, and Arts Administrator at the state and national levels. Your award comes with the recognition that you practice such high standards of achievement and a $250 cash award.
