Welcome! This is my 19th year of teaching and I am very excited to explore the world of science with a new group of scientists. I am passionate about science because I believe that to know science is to know the world we live in. I challenge my students to learn science in a scientific way, continue to develop their natural curiosity about the world around us, and ask “Why” and “How do we know?”   #sciencematters  #wkmssoars  

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and our fur babies. My husband teaches at WKHS and we really enjoy being part of the White Knoll community. Along with our love of science, our family lives and breathes dance with Carolina Ballet. You will find the whole family either backstage with props and costumes or on stage in many performances throughout the year.
