8th Grade Science Teacher

Mr. Young started teaching science at Lexington Middle School in 2020 and was an opening member at Lakeside Middle School in 2022. He values nature and philosophy, bringing complex, natural themes into the classroom to relate learning to student's personal lives. During his class, you can expect a systemic breakdown of content built upon students conducting multitudes of laboratories throughout the year. His goal is not just to teach facts, but to teach "how" to engage with problems that do not always have easy answers.
