8th Grade Math Teacher

Mrs. Smith teaches 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. She has twenty-seven years of teaching experience in both middle school and high school, and she joined Lakeside Middle School when it opened in 2022. She graduated from Converse College with a B.A. in Mathematics/Secondary Education. She holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina. She is also Nationally Board Certified in the area of Adolescence and Young Adulthood/Mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and exercising.
