8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher

Mrs. Shumpert taught at Lexington Middle for many years and moved to Lakeside when it opened 2022. She has taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grades during her career, but truly loves eighth grade where she teaches ELA and English 1.

When she is not at school, Mrs. Shumpert can be found with her husband, four sons, and two grandsons. She also loves going to the beach and reading.
