Math Teacher

My name is Josie Yarborough Burkett and I am a seventh grade math teacher as well as the seventh grade house leader. This is my seventh year in education, prior to seventh grade I taught eight grade math and Algebra One. I hold a B.A. in Middle Level Education with a focus on Math and English, a Master’s in Education Administration, and I am gifted and talented certified. When I am not at Lakeside, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and animals.

I love to be on Lake Murray as much as possible and enjoy grilling and watching football on the weekends! I am looking forward to an amazing year at Lakeside. Go Raiders!
