Social Studies Teacher

This is my 2nd year with Lakeside and I am so excited to be back! Last year in Geography we introduced a lot of new and diverse topics about our planet. Teaching 7th graders is such a cool and unique experience. I look forward to getting to know your kiddos this year as I have a 7th grader here as well.
If I were not in the classroom I would be flying for sure. It was a passion that I discovered when I was 15 and never looked back. There is nothing like taking off and seeing the world from a different angle. I am originally from Northern Michigan. It is truly a beautiful place where I grew up hiking, skiing, and riding my bike everywhere I possibly could. My family and I love to escape to Greenville whenever possible (it is very similar to where I grew up). I love watching football, golf, baseball (and recently my son is getting me interested in soccer.) I have become absolutely obsessed with Pickleball over the past two years! It is so much fun!
