Principal's Message
November 3, 2024
HELLO GES FAMILIES!
Good afternoon SCOUT families, I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend with their SCOUTS! We had a successful Red Ribbon Week and are thankful for those who donated canned goods to help us spread messages of kindness. Remember this week is a 4 day week with schools being closed on Tuesday for Election Day. On Thursday we have our next GES Sonic Night from 5:00-8:00. Hope to see everyone there.
Don't forget to turn back your clocks on November 3rd!
Our Gilbert Elementary School T-shirts, long sleeve T-shirts, and sweatshirts online store closes tonight at midnight.
Complete this form if you have Veterans coming to our program on Monday, November 11th
Our two words this week are COMPASSIONATE AND INNOVATIVE. COMPASSIONATE is a feeling and an action that means caring about others, treating them with kindness, and wanting to help people in need. INNOVATIVE means introducing new ideas and changes. We encourage students to use these words in conversation, look for them in books, and we've challenged them to teach you about them and discover other ways they may be used or found in everyday life.
Congratulations to our GES 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, Wade Hasty! We appreciate you! Thank you for caring for and helping our Scouts reach their full potential!
