I was born in Florida and moved to SC when I was in 3rd grade.  I met my husband while attending college at the University of South Carolina.  We were married in 2004, and shortly after, I began my first year of teaching.  

I have two teenage children, Brycen and Braylie. I love spending time with my family.  Away from school, I enjoy reading, crafting, and playing at the lake or the beach.
