8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher

Mrs. Hamilton has been part of the Lakeside family since it opened to students in 2022. She is on the 8th Grade ELA team, and her teaching philosophy is summed up in Benjamin Franklin's words, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." Mrs. Hamilton is originally from California and moved to South Carolina with her family during Covid. She comes to the classroom after working as a school librarian in San Diego. She enjoys cooking, travel, animals, her children, and, of course, reading!
