Employ (2) teachers @ 2.0 FTE as Interventionist to provide additional academic instruction in small groups in grades kindergarten (0) through five (5) in reading and/or math during regular school hours. These positions are supplemental. They do not serve as Read to Succeed positions. Reading A to Z will provide students with additional leveled texts. Conduct parent workshops, parent learning sessions (various times of day and throughout the school year), curriculum nights for families to support core academic instruction and the Arts. Provide materials and handouts during these events to assist parents in meeting student needs at home. Topics may include reading, writing, phonics, math, science, social studies, school counseling/social-emotional learning, behavior management, goal setting, study skills, academic nights, family engagement, and the Arts.
