I am so excited to start my teaching career as a Bengal. I graduated from Fairmont State University in West Virginia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business and an Associate in Applied Science. I worked as a Medical Coder from 2007-2017. I moved to South Carolina in 2019 and spent the 2021-2022 school year substituting for Lexington District One. That is when I realized I needed a career change and middle school held a dear place in my heart. I went through the Teacher of Tomorrow Program to obtain my teaching certification. I have tutored kids in Math from Elementary to Algebra for the last 7 years. 

I have been married since 2007 to my wonderful husband Justin and have 3 children Xavier, Zayla, Nyah and our fur baby Yo-Yo. In my spare time I love to have family movie nights, anything outside, baseball and I have a passion for reading. I can’t forget the most important thing: my family and I are die hard Steeler fans!
