I graduated from the University of South Carolina-Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education for Biology and General Science and went on to earn my Master of Gifted and Talented Education from Converse College. Since 1998, I have taught middle grades science and gifted and talented enrichment in various elementary and middle schools across the state. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my husband and two teenage children.
