Mihaela Livingston

Year 30 - LET'S GO!

Mrs. Livingston teaches 1/2 of the day at Beechwood Middle School, supporting Multilingual Learners in grades 6-8 while supporting students in grades 6-8 the other 1/2 of the day at Pleasant Hill Middle School.  

Originally from Romania, she is a graduate from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University from Iasi-Romania, with a B.A. in Psychology and Sciences of Education.  Additionally, she has a Master of Education in Intercultural Education, a Master of Education in Guidance and School Counseling, is National Board certified in English as a New Language/Early Adolescence, is certified in both, English for Speakers of Other Languages and Learning Disabilities and Gifted and Talented endorsed. 

Mrs. Livingston has been a Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2010, 2015, 2016 and 2022.

Mrs. Livingston and her husband have one son, Filip, and one daughter, Ana, both gifted, talented and plurilingual students. When not teaching, Mrs. Livingston is involved in her children’s sports activities. She loves to sing, read, laugh, hike and travel.

Inspiring students to take risks learning English as a new language while finding adventure along the way is her jam. The door is always open, so feel free to stop by anytime.
