My name is Ashley McCall and I am thrilled to say that this is my 15th year at SGE! I am from Hendersonville, N.C. and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with my early childhood and elementary education degrees in 2004. I received my Master’s degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College in 2009, and I received my National Board certification in 2011. I also took graduate courses from the University of South Carolina and received my Literacy Teacher certification as well as the Read to Succeed certification in 2015. I have worked as a kindergarten teacher here at Saxe Gotha for the last 14 years. I have a husband, Mike, and an almost two-year-old little girl named Ella. I enjoy spending family time together, watching Tar Heel sports, playing tennis, and playing the drums and piano.
