Hey y'all! My name is Chasity Day. This is my 8th year teaching and my 5th year in Lexington One! I have a degree in elementary education from the University of South Carolina. GO GAMECOCKS!! I am originally from Great Falls, SC which is a small town north of here. I live in Lexington with my husband Blake, who is a captain with the Lexington County Fire Service, our 2 children, and 1 very energetic dog. When I am not teaching I enjoy playing with my kids, going to the lake, watching Hallmark movies (especially at Christmas) and watching Netflix. Teaching is my passion and I love what I do each and every day!! I can't wait to see what this year brings! 

Greetings. My name is Tracey Lee Lee and I am embarking on my 7th year of my teaching journey. I was born and raised on the island of Trinidad. I attended Claflin University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have taught third grade and have worked as an School Level Technologist in Orangeburg. This is my second year teaching second grade at Saxe Gotha. I currently live in Irmo with my husband, Jason, and stepdaughter, Aaliyah. We enjoy watching sports and playing games together.

Hello! My name is Mary Seebauer, and I am excited to start my 17th year of teaching at SGE. I grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Columbia College. I have a Master's Degree in Divergent Learning also from Columbia College. I have also received my Reading Teacher certification and will have a certification to teach English to speakers of other languages once I complete the Praxis exam. I have taught multiple grade levels and am currently teaching third grade. Currently, I live in West Columbia with my youngest daughter, Julie. I also have two adult children, Jake and Lillie as well as two grandchildren named Beckham and Elena. I enjoying spending time with my children and grandchildren as well as staying active. I enjoy being outside and near the water (oceans and lakes). My other hobbies include repurposing items, crafting, reading and watching movies. I enjoy watching the Gamecocks and Buffalo Bills play football. I also love Braves and Carolina Baseball.
