Hello Fabulous Bengals! My name is Anne (Annie) Peterson! I am so excited to be part of your educational journey!

This is my 18th year as a teacher! I have taught in Lexington One since 2008. I previously taught in Massachusetts and Georgia! I attended Central Connecticut University for a B.S. degree, Anna Maria College for an M.B.A., and Lesley University for an M.Ed in elementary and special education. I am certified in early elementary, elementary, multi-categorical special education, middle-Level ELA and middle-level Social Studies. I am trained in Orton- Gillingham strategies and Read Right. I was “rookie of the year” my first year teaching in Framingham, Massachusetts. I have been a Teacher of the Year Finalist for Lexington One in 2012 and 2020. Before I was a teacher, I worked in finance. My family moved from Boston to Lexington 22 years ago. My husband Scott and I have three grown children. Aidan just graduated from Clemson, Ella is studying teaching at Clemson and Isabel is a senior at Lexington High School. I enjoy hiking, reading, all things outdoors and spending time with my family and friends and being at the beach!
