I am thrilled to be part of the Beechwood family! I bring with me 21 years of experience in elementary education, where I have dedicated myself to fostering academic growth and a love for learning in my students. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and my Master’s degree from Columbia College. I am also National Board certified in literacy, which underscores my commitment to helping students succeed in reading and writing. Additionally, I hold endorsements as a Read to Succeed teacher and gifted and talented education, allowing me to meet the diverse needs of our students. 

My husband, Trey, and I have two children: Caroline and James.  We also have a mini goldendoodle named Maverick.  My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, cheering on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, line dancing, cooking, and traveling.
