I am so excited to be part of the Beechwood family!  I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina.  Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching in Lexington County School District One. My career began at Gilbert Elementary School, where I taught 4th and 5th grade. As my passion for education grew, I moved to Meadow Glen Middle School, where I taught sixth grade ELA. I hold certifications in both Elementary Education and Middle Level English Language Arts (ELA). In addition, I hold both the Read to Succeed and Gifted and Talented teaching endorsements,

My husband, Randy, and I have three children.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crafting, and being outside.
