I am excited and grateful to be a middle school teacher at Beechwood! I received my bachelor’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina and my master’s degree in divergent learning from Columbia College. My teaching career began as a preschool teacher. Before starting my middle school era at Beechwood, I taught as a classroom teacher and a STEM teacher at the elementary level. I have had the pleasure of teaching students in every grade level from 3K to 8th grade. Encouraging students to have a growth mindset and believe in themselves is something I am very passionate about. I am also extremely passionate about being a mom to my sons, Chase and Aaron. We love to explore and go on adventures together. Making priceless memories with my loved ones is my favorite thing to do.
