Bonjour mes amis! I am Mme Bermas and I will be teaching 6th and 7th grade French Connections this year. I have been teaching French since 1996, from Kindergarten to 8th grade. I was also a French immersion teacher for 14 years. I am certified in French K-12, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education. I earned my Master's Degree in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. I studied, lived, and taught for two years in Grenoble, France, where I earned my Certificat d’Études Politiques, from the Université de Grenoble. I have also studied and traveled in Cameroon, Africa and in Quebec and Montreal, Canada. When not at the Beech, my husband and I love to watch our twin boys run cross-country and our daughter dance competitively. My favorite family activities are movies and game nights and spending time with my two toy poodles and a bearded dragon. My goal is to inspire my students to explore the French-speaking world!
