P. Heath Branham currently serves as principal of Centerville Elementary School in Gilbert. Branham first came to Lexington District One in 2005 as principal of Saxe Gotha Elementary, and he was promoted to the position of director of elementary schools. In 2009, he joined EdisonLearning as senior vice president in the School Turnaround program. In 2011, he took on the role of executive director for school improvement, working with turnaround schools and dropout centers across the nation. He later served as academic operations director for Hobsons-Naviance Advantage and executive vice president of academic operations for Wake Forest Advantage, where he supported domestic and international schools in Asia.

Earlier in his career, he worked as the instructional evaluation coordinator in the Newberry County School District and served as principal of Prosperity-Rikard Elementary School and Whitmire Elementary School. He also taught elementary and middle school and was an assistant principal in Aiken County.

Branham earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Newberry College and a Master of Education in supervision and administration from Clemson University. He is scheduled to complete his Educational Specialist Degree in school superintendency from Arkansas State University in 2023.

Dr. Lucas “Luke” C. Clamp currently serves as the secondary schools director for Lexington District One. Prior to this role, he was the founding principal for River Bluff High School, where he served for 10 years.

Clamp began his career as a chemistry and environmental science teacher and assistant football and baseball coach at Irmo High School in 2002. He became the dean of studies at Irmo High in 2004. He joined Lexington District One in 2006 as assistant principal at Lexington High School.

Clamp earned a Bachelor of Science in Teaching from Clemson University. He earned a Master of Education in educational administration, Educational Specialist Degree in educational administration and an Educational Doctorate in curriculum and instruction from University of South Carolina.

Dr. Ronald “Ron” W. Garner currently serves as the superintendent in Spartanburg School District One, a position he’s held since 2010. Before this role, he served as assistant superintendent/superintendent-elect from 2008–09. A 28 year educator, Garner began his career in 1994 as a middle school teacher and coach at R.P. Dawkins Middle School in Moore, SC 

He later worked as assistant principal at Cowpens Middle School before being promoted to the school’s principal in 2000. He later served as principal of L.E. Gable Middle School in Roebuck, SC from 2003–05 and at Chapman High School in Inman, SC from 2005–08.

Garner earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education/biology from University of South Carolina Upstate, a Master of Education in educational administration and leadership from University of South Carolina, and a Doctorate in Education in educational administration and leadership from South Carolina State University.

Dr. Nakia Hardy currently serves as deputy superintendent for Durham Public Schools in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to this, she served as chief academic officer of Guilford County Schools, as well as executive director for teaching and learning for the Baltimore City Public Schools and assistant superintendent of K–12 curriculum and instruction for Rockingham County Schools. 

With 24 years of educational experience, Hardy began her career as a chemistry teacher at Walter Hines Page High in Greensboro, NC. She later served as assistant principal at Graham High School and principal at Broadview Middle School.

Hardy earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Appalachian State University and a Master of Education in school administration and a Doctor of Education from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Gerrita L. Postlewait is currently serving as interim superintendent in Lexington District One. Postlewait most recently served as superintendent of Charleston County School District for six years. She previously served as superintendent of Horry County Schools for ten years, as well as Wetzel County Schools in West Virginia for six years.

Prior to that, Postlewait taught and served as a school administrator in multiple states. She also spent nine years in educational roles in the private sector, including serving as assistant vice president for ACT testing and a chief K–12 officer for The Stupski Foundation in California.

Postlewait earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts in educational leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Administration from West Virginia University.
