Lexington One Board of Trustees holds public hearing and meeting on December 12, 2023

LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the South Lake Elementary attendance lines and its regular monthly board meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Pelion Performing Arts Center, located at 981 Mulberry Street in Pelion.

The agenda for the meeting is posted and can be viewed on the BoardDocs site for the Lexington One Board of Trustees at http://go.boarddocs.com/sc/lexington1/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=CT7SLL6CAD1B.

The regular monthly board meeting opens at 4:45 p.m., during which the board will promptly vote to enter executive session.

The Board of Trustees will hold a "Meet and Greet" from 5:30–6 p.m. for community members wishing to speak informally with board members.

The public portion of the meeting will resume at 6 p.m. The public hearing on the South Lake Elementary attendance lines will take place in open session beginning at 6 p.m.

Citizens wishing to address the Board of Trustees during the public hearing and/or citizens’ participation — the public-speaking portion of the meeting — must sign up to speak. Sign-up opens at 5 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. You must be present to sign up to speak.

After the meeting, the district will post a video of the meeting to its YouTube channel and its website.
